Complete Word Count
The CompleteWordCount add‑in allows you to see a full word count for the different areas of your document.
Information added by Lene Fredborg, 14-Nov-2023:
Back in July 2010, Shauna Kelly removed the CompleteWordCount add-in because she
was working on re-developing the tool. The new version was never finished.
If you want, you can find and download the old version (that Shauna planned to replace) on the following page from the web.archive. On that page, you will also find information about the add-in and instructions about how to install it:
-
Click this link to go to web.archive from where you can download the
CompleteWordCount add-in
Be aware that it may take a minute or so to open the link.
Please read and respect Shauna Kelly's last section, "Fine print", on the page linked above.
- NOTE: In Word 2007 and newer versions, the command
CompleteWordCount will be added to the Add-ins tab on the
Ribbon.
